Senior Center "Dinner and a Movie Night" a Big Success

Seniors Dinner and a Movie Night “ a big Success

On March 21 Missouri Valley Marketing held the initial “Dinner and a Movie Night” at the Senior Center. Close to 20 seniors attended the event and enjoyed a spaghetti bolognese dinner with appetizer, salad, bread sticks and dessert then enjoyed watching “The Apple Dumpling Gang” movie.

The event was free and open to anyone 55 or older.

Pam Sample, Jenni Bonser and Nichole Brown prepared the meal with bread sticks and an apple crumble dessert provided by the Mountie Moose Bakery. Keith and Robin Kirscher provided a 50 inch HD television to show the movie. Brynlee Brown, Triston Bonser and Taylee Bonser volunteered their time to serve the meal.

Missouri Valley Marketing (MVM) would like to thank everyone that attended the event and we would like to thank Dawn Langlinais and Bella Brown for volunteering to help with the setup/cleanup and for providing rides to the event. We would also like to thank Angie Wintrow of the Mountie Moose for the terrific bread sticks and apple crumble dessert.

MVM is planning for more events for the Senior Citizens at the Senior Center. We are planning on hosting more “Dinner and a Movie Nights” as well as Bingo events and other surprises.
